I was born with intellectual and physical disabilities (cerebral palsy). Affectionate and playful, outspoken wiseguy, stubborn now and then, that's me. One thing I really enjoy is spending time with familiar faces talking and teasing and laughing together about ourselves. For more than twelve years now I've been a volunteer courier at the hospital, I like cruising the hallways in my powerchair. Boy Scout meetings and meetings with New Hampshire Developmental Disabilities Council get me out of the house. I've spent past summers picking up litter on the seacoast and helping care for abused and neglected horses. I wish I could move to Florida where my brother lives. For now I share an apartment with my housemate, who provides the supports I need to live independently. When I'm at home I do watch a lot of tv, my favorite shows change from time to time, right now I like Walker, Saved By The Bell, and WWE Wrestling. Recently it was McGyver and Little People, Big World, and before that Highway To Heaven. You'll often find me crying deep from the gut during a tender love scene or a story where someone triumphs over a personal challenge. One favorite pastime is a computer simulation called "18 Wheels of Steel" where I can drive a big rig (a tractor trailer truck) across the USA. But if you were in my life we'd be going places and doing things. Holding hands, lots of hugs and kisses, sleeping and waking up in bed together, caring for each other forever, you are my dream.
