FM

Now what could FM stand for? Well, there's Female Mensa, Friggin' Marvelous, Fig Muffins, Fat Maniac and Fibromyalgia. All of these describe me; okay, maybe not the fig muffins. I work at a seniors facility on a very slow return to work program which isn't working all that well for me. I was off work for 3 years with aching body parts, extreme fatigue, back pain and itchy ears ( yes, that is another one of the joys of FM ). Had physical therapy, an exercise regime ( which ended when my disability insurance ran out last fall ) and bucketsful of pills. I still take far too many as far as I am concerned. Anyhow, there is no cure so I just try to take one day at a time and there are good ones and not-so-good ones.
