I have cerebral palsey and use a wheel chair.
I tend to think of myself as a truly dynamic person; a visionary of the impossible or how to make the possible even better. At the same time, I am a simple and sometimes shy person. Then again, when there is something I believe in and am passionate about, I go for it full throttle. I try to incorporate my interests into my work. My position allows me to do this since as an instructor I am able to use a lot of creative techniques in my lectures and dialog with the students. My goals are to make more time to do community service to help people become more of who they can be and to give back the same type of opportunities and chances that were given to me by people who thought outside of the box. I also want to continue a good relationship with my daughter. My disability, although it appears limiting, has enabled me to experience the world in a very unusual innovative way. I have had the opportunity to participate in several civil disobedient actions. I see my life as a non-ending story with many volumes. In terms of music, I love the classics of the seventies and I would probably get up and walk for one day with Bob Dylan.
