Dare to be different

I'm not aware that I have any disability, save perhaps for the social condition of 'being an engineer' or 'being an introvert,' but I have those well enough under control to be socially functional. I'm here because I have, to varying degrees over time, found myself attracted to women with disabilities (yeah, devoteeism ) and quite successful in relationships with them, at least to the point a few months in where we both come to realize that shared intellect and mutual transparent acceptance isn't in itself enough for lasting romance. Still, I am open to the idea if I'm on the market at all, and I do still find physical disabilities below the level of 'requires total care' to be strangely endearing even if time and time again I fail to figure out precisely why or to bring myself to complete closure on the subject. As of this writing, I'm a little too jaded and otherwise-occupied to be doing much active searching here, but if you find yourself resonating with my other subsite profiles, I'd be happy to hear from you, and if it turns out we are a great social and intellectual match, I'm nearly certain that I'd meet any way in which your body or physical ability differs from the Olympian standard with at worst total transparency and at best some level of enthusiasm And if the whole 'devotee' thing leaves you with some misgivings... I understand. It leaves me with misgivings. I'm not above answering questions, if I have an answer myself, but at heart I'm here because I don't agree with letting one characteristic of someone define how they're 'supposed' to be or what they stereotypically can/can't to, so I do hope to get some measure of the same on my own anomalies from anyone interested in a serious dialogue
