Tall, Dark, and Nearsighted

I suffer from a lifelong chronic Cardio-pulmonary disorder which is complicated by vascular issues. I was always limited as a child, but things grew far worse in my late thirties, and I nearly died in 2009. Subsequent lifestyle and dietary changes have allowed me to recover a good deal, but one has to accept the fact that I may always be weak and lack stamina relative to an average person. It is absolutely necessary that a partner understand and accept this.

My primary occupation is as a caregiver for my elderly mother. I also maintain computer systems for a local business owner, when energy and time allow. On rare occasions I publish fiction or poetry.

My ideal mate would be a very submissive, soft-spoken woman who is capable of great empathy. I strongly prefer very sensitive women. Physically, I prefer heavier, voluptuous women with blue eyes and long, brown, red or auburn hair. Although these traits are important to me, they are not essential. Spiritual and intellectual qualities are paramount.

I strongly prefer someone who is well educated. Whether that was achieved as an autodidact, or via traditional education is of no importance to me whatsoever.

I will not be able to tolerate anyone who obsessed with popular culture for very long. Focus is vital. You must be able to determine priorities and dedicate yourself as needed. In simpler terms: Do one thing at time whenever possible and do it well. Clear thought devoid of the previous evening's "American Idol" results will be a positive boon.

If you have pets, our relationship will only work if you truly understand that they are animals. However entertaining or beneficial they might be, they are not your offspring. Humans take precedence in all matters.

I am extremely allergic to cigarette smoke. I would rather not be involved with a drinker.
