I am at peace with myself and the world. I am confident in my body. I don't need someone to be responsible for my feelings. I find happiness where I can and though I get discouraged, I am generally a happy person. I am NOT interested in a sex only relationship. I'm definitely looking to date possibly leading to long term WITH a traditional gentleman. Some of my favorite things: Being holed up with a fire watching the snow fall. Purring cats. Thunderstorms, a dog curled up beside me, the sunrise, hippos, laying in bed listening to the rain, Gunsmoke, the sound of braying hounds in the woods, kittens, 17th century Dutch paintings, art in it's many forms, Jimmie Rodgers, the zoo and the list goes on..... I am mostly a home body, I enjoy most forms of music, especially old country music. But I listen to a lot of different genres, just depends on the mood. I like art, classic Hollywood cinema, the outdoors. I can be happy doing any activity as long as it is with the right person. I listen to old Country music. It is something that I love but understand many people don't care for it. I am a huge fan of Jimmie Rodgers, the "Singing Brakeman" and Alison Krauss. But I love many different forms of music, Robert Johnson, Patti Page, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Jimi Hendrix and just about all Bluegrass! I love learning new things, listening to people talk about their likes & dislikes. Best way to make someone feel comfortable is to ask them about their passions in life and actually listen to them when they tell you. I like watching people and animals. Teenagers and squirrels are the funniest to watch.
