definately looking for friends, maybe perhaps more

i was diagnosed with forestier's disease last year. in short , my bones are fusing together. im a very possative person dispite my condition. i laugh constantly! no joke on that. i laugh about what im going through all the time.my best friend constantly insults me about it. the crewler the better . HE DOESNT MEAN WHAT HE SAYS. BUT IT IS QUITE FUNNY.(((ITS A LOVING RELATIONSHIP OF 25 YEARS)) ITS NOT JUST ANYBODY SAYING IT YOU SEE, (AND OUR HUMOR IS ONLY BETWEEN US) i had a dark humor about me before i got sick. im certainly not going to change it because im sick. i know its not really funny but i have to find some irony in it. before i was diagnosed i was persuing an education on physical therapy tech. what a kick in the pance that was. its a slow progressive disease, chances of getting it when i did 1/3 of 1%. i am real about it. i accept the situation much more then the people around me. eventually this will end my life but i dont have a stamped date so why worry. i really dont dwell on it at all. it is a daily conversation cause my best friend cant pass an insult up or two about it which is ok. but to say i cry about it, i really dont .as i have read some profiles on this site.THERE ARE OTHERS WHO SUFFER MORE THEN ME. i am very independant right now. i do what i have to do. i can walk , but i do use cruches at times to limit the pain in my feet. in some ways im happier then ive ever been. that is so ironic. very very strange , sad but true. IM BEYOND EASY GOING. ALWAYS THERE WHEN YOU NEED ME WITH LOADS OF PATIENCE. I RARELY EVER HAVE BAD DAYS. I JUST DONT SEE MUCH OF A POINT IN GETTING BENT OUT OF SHAPE ABOUT ALOT OF THINGS. SO MUCH CRAP IN THE WORLD AND I PREFER NOT TO MAKE IT MINE. i thought that now that im sick i would never find that special person. but now that i ran across this site . i have hope in that. so im willing to give it a try. even if i meet people as friends . its still a great plus so whats to lose. take care
