hi there. this place is like a ghost town. i thought i'd revamp my profile a bit. i've joined up for a few reasons. i think that people who have challenges really can understand others with obstacles too. i also believe that people with challenges are valuable and have insight, and are underrated in a society sometimes too focused on ideal types. poverty is also a grinder for people with disabilities and i think even that limitation causes a focus in more important areas like character and morality. plus here, it should matter a lot less! i was in a mountainbike accident in 1998 and now im a para but even before my accident most people would say im positive, talkative, scattered, maybe a little reactive (i like advocacy and have some opinions but i am not a over bearing ass!). but im reactive also b/c im patient. you know, i tend to listen and sometimes take it but if people cross me, eventually you have to stand up for youself. that being said i like politics/current events, chess, music, reading, movies, cooking, nature. im hey ive joined up to meet some interesting people and hopefully meet 'the one' but im in no rush at all to move fast. i dont mind online dating but ive learned the hard way to well..take precautions!! so no fear about someone who wants to get ahead of themselves. im looking to meet men or women. oh ya, another interest of mine is developing a online clothing line for people who sit full time. if your a wheelchair user and want to do a survey to get your opinions on clothing, let me know! oh ya..my big hobby is playing music. i sing and play guitar in a four piece band locally. we hope to have our first cd out next year! yay!!
