~Looking to make new friends in Connecticut~I

I'm a diabetic with complications from it, among them neuropathy and cataracts. I've cared for my parents my whole life(being an only child), and now my mother just died and I'm all alone. I am a animal lover- I have a dog and cat, and they are my family. I enjoy watching movies at home, music from then 50's and 60's , board games like monopoly and I'm a Red Sox fan. I don't drink or smoke, so I don't do bar scenes. I'd love to meet new people who have similar interest and seeking to make new friends as well. I'm honest and straightforward and expect the same.Male or female are welcome to contact me. Some of my old friends for many years were men, so that old saying about men and women can't be just friends isn't true,lol......I live in the Wethersfield area of the state, just incase someone is close by and wanted to talk.....
